How quotes work

A clear path from research to booking.

A specialist researches your route, prepares a written quote, and confirms the details with you before payment.

How we research your flight

A specialist reviews your route, dates, cabin, and preferences, then researches available options for your request. Your written quote reflects the itinerary and fare conditions available when that research is completed.

Airline fares and availability can move quickly. We make that timing clear in the quote so you know what to review and when to respond.

Quote, reservation, and ticket

These are three separate stages in your booking journey.

1. Written quote

A clear view of the proposed itinerary, fare conditions, and itemized costs for your review.

2. Authorization

If you choose to proceed, you review and approve the itinerary and final amounts in writing.

3. Ticket confirmation

After payment is processed and ticketing is coordinated, you receive your e-ticket confirmation and carrier booking reference.

What your quote includes

Your quote is designed to make the decision easy to understand. It includes:

  • The proposed itinerary and cabin
  • Fare conditions, including change and cancellation information
  • Base airfare, government taxes and airport fees
  • Carrier surcharges where applicable
  • The TravelFirst agency fee, shown separately
  • The total amount and the party charging each component

If a fare changes

If availability or the fare changes before booking can be completed, we will send the updated option and amount for your review. We only proceed when you approve the revised details in writing.
